It is important that you fill out as much information as possible (use the sticky form), note that sloppy written signups are to be paid less attention to or even ignored!
Here are some basic rules that apply to everyone in the raid, from the very start until raid disbands. Violating these rules will either get you kicked or banned from these pugs:- You
must be able to use ventrilo 3.0.1 and comprehend simple english. It is not obligated to have/use a microphone but very useful if u are a vital class such as tank.
- Loot rules are very simple, mainspec prio and by mainspec i mean the spec you had whenever the item has dropped. I don't care what "normally" is your mainspec. Usually there will be a maximum of 1 piece of shiny loot/player (unless nobody else wants it). Crafting recipies will be rolled out to ppl who can use it. Random drops such as greenies, nether vortex, gems and mark of the illidari etc, will be kept by the raidleader and in some cases handed out to players who have performed exceptionally well.
- AFK'ing during raid, it is disrespectful to your fellow raidmembers to go afk during the raid without informing the raid or leader. What you do is throw a whisper to the raidleader why you need to go afk and for how long, WAIT FOR CONFIRMATION before you go and you will be notified if you ought to be replaced or granted a couple of min to do whatever you need to to. Usually we try to give the raid short but frequent breaks to fetch a drink, bathroom visit etc.
- By signing up and accepting your invite, you will agree to stay with the raid and perform your best until 24:00/00:00 server time. Some raids have been willing to play past midnight but it is fully understandable if you wish to leave after that. Leaving the raid before midnight will be taking into consideration for future invites.
- It is by no means allowed to act disrespectful to other raidmembers in any way. If you have a grudge against someone, leave it outside. If the problem occured during the raid, act mature and whisper your raidleader and tell him/her about the problem.
- Bear in mind that a pug run is not the same as a guild run. Raiding also involves wipes so be prepared. Flasks, elixirs, potions and proper consumables is a MUST and has to be applied by order from the raidleader.
-
VERY IMPORTANT! Depending on the instance we are doing, it is expected that you have atleast some kind of clue of the boss/trash tactics. The raidleader will most of the times go through a tactic before a bossfight/certain trash but it's still required that you are in some way familiar with the encounter. Make sure that before you sign up for the specific raid, go through the instance/encounters on for expample bosskillers.com.
- At last but most important, HAVE FUN!
